# Carnival DevOps > Infrastructure architecture, managed monitoring and AI memory systems, built in Bangkok and deployed worldwide. Self-hosted by default. Carnival DevOps designs, runs and secures the infrastructure behind businesses in Southeast Asia and Europe, and builds the AI layer on top of it: retrieval pipelines, knowledge graphs, agents with persistent memory. Founded by Olivier Magnier (20+ years of enterprise IT across Ireland, Sweden, Hong Kong and Thailand). Motto: Automate. Deploy. Celebrate. ## Products - [Ferris](https://carnival-devops.com/ferris): white-label managed monitoring and endpoint console deployed at customer sites. What it is for: the operator finds out that a site is in trouble before the customer phones — an expiring certificate is flagged 21 and 7 days ahead, a disk filling overnight alerts hours before it is full and can be cleared by an approved script, and the monthly report makes a quiet month visible so the retainer is not renegotiated. Metrics and 24/7 alerting (Telegram, e-mail, webhook), HTTP/TCP/SMTP/IMAP/TLS-expiry probes, dashboards, endpoint inventory and patch status for Linux/macOS/Windows, remote scripts, floor plans and cabling maps, maintenance windows, auto-healing hooks, zero-touch enrollment, monthly expert PDF report (EN/FR), optional SIEM and intrusion detection. One stack, one configuration file, validated before deployment. Not a SaaS: the data stays on the customer's network. - [Recall](https://recall.carnival-devops.com/): the memory layer for AI agents. What it is for: an assistant that starts every session from zero costs the same explanation every session and re-proposes rejected fixes; Recall keeps what was decided and why, so the agent retrieves the decision instead of being told again. Hybrid BM25 + semantic search, cross-encoder reranking, recency scoring, knowledge-graph boosting, conflict detection between memories, document distillation, multi-tenant with row-level security. Ships as an MCP server for Claude Code (31 tools) and a REST API. ~60 ms search latency. Runs entirely on the customer's hardware, GPU optional (AMD ROCm or NVIDIA). - [Kermes](https://carnival-devops.com/kermes): white-label, offline-first platform for inspections and audits. What it is for: it removes the paper checklist and the evening spent typing it into a spreadsheet (about two hours a week per inspector), works where there is no signal at all, and turns a disputed deposit or damage claim into a timestamped record with its photos and its author. A mobile app for inspectors (iOS, Android) and a web dashboard for managers and admins. Offline answers, photos, video and comments; eight field types (text, number, date, yes/no, single choice, photo, video, repeating tables); form builder and Excel import; one Sync button (push, then pull) with background media upload; conflicts keep the replaced value for a manager to choose; annotations, PDF reports with a printed revision number; locked inspections (admin-only unlock, recorded); change history with old and new values; reversible archive; inspector, manager and admin roles with per-company data separation. Apps built with the client's name and logo. Managed PostgreSQL and S3-compatible storage; self-hosting on request. - [Delectable](https://carnival-devops.com/delectable): a desktop app that catalogues books, films, music and games on shelves, made as a replacement for Delicious Library, which stopped at the end of 2024. What it is for: it opens a Delicious Library 3 library file (items, covers, notes, shelves, ratings) without modifying it, so years of cataloguing are not lost, then adds search by title in any language or by barcode (also from a photo), details from free sources, IMDb / Rotten Tomatoes / Metacritic scores when available, summary and cast, where to watch or buy per country, completion of items entered with only a title (never replacing what was typed), editing and loans, French and English, themes. The library is a folder on the user's disk (one SQLite file and a covers folder): no account, no cloud; works offline once filled. Pre-release builds for testers on Linux, Windows and macOS; Android in progress, iPhone planned. Early access on request; no public download and no price yet. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of Delicious Library. ## Services - RAG and knowledge graphs (pgvector, Neo4j, bge-m3, cross-encoder reranking, GLiNER, MCP integration) - Infrastructure architecture (Proxmox, LXC, bare-metal, hybrid cloud, HA clusters, OPNsense, Cloudflare, zero-downtime migrations) - AI systems and LLM ops (self-hosted LLM serving with vLLM/llama.cpp on AMD and NVIDIA GPUs, embedding services, agent orchestration) - Managed monitoring and SOC (Ferris deployments, alerting, probes, endpoint management, optional SIEM) - Odoo ERP 17/18 (deployment, PostgreSQL tuning, custom modules, integrations, migrations) - DevOps and automation (CI/CD from GitHub, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, n8n, security hardening and audits) - Websites and 3D experiences (hand-built sites, Blender models rendered in WebGL/three.js, scroll-driven motion, clean SEO, edge deployment on Cloudflare Pages) ## Approach Observe → Design → Deploy → Automate → Celebrate. Everything ships from Git and is validated before it touches production. Runbooks are written for the junior technician; monthly reports for management. No vendor lock-in. ## Pages - [Home](https://carnival-devops.com/): products, services, approach, FAQ, contact - [Ferris product page](https://carnival-devops.com/ferris): why it exists (three situations it is bought for), console modules (overview, alerts + auto-healing, map + floor plans, machines, updates + patch approval, scripts + live tools, scheduler + maintenance windows, SNMP + discovery, knowledge base, tickets + portal, enrollment, monthly reports, AI assistant, remote support), what is watched, tiers, deployment, FAQ - [Kermes product page](https://carnival-devops.com/kermes): why it exists (three situations it is bought for), what ships (mobile app, dashboard, nine features), any site (property and condos, warehouses and facilities, rental fleets), how it works (build, brand, inspect, review), FAQ - [Delectable product page](https://carnival-devops.com/delectable): why it exists (three situations), what the Delicious Library import carries over and what it does not yet, what is new (add by title or barcode, scores, cast, where to watch, completion, loans), where it runs today, FAQ, early access - [Founder — Olivier Magnier](https://carnival-devops.com/cv): background, journey, projects, stack, languages (French native, English fluent, Swedish proficient, Thai and Spanish working) ## Contact - E-mail: hello@carnival-devops.com - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/olivier-magnier-2b817615/ - Location: Bangkok, Thailand (UTC+7), working worldwide
